Being a WOMAN in a world dominated by men Is NEVER easy. However, Maritime Industry is not a competition between a man or a woman, it is on how you become a COMPETENT and a WORLDCLASS SEAFARER! Do you have what it takes to be a SHEFARER?

S- smart ; Be smart in everything you do. Being a SHEfarer is not about wearing beauty but about knowledge and attitude towards your comrades and your work.

H-humble ; Be humble. Inspite of all the accomplishments and success do not be too proud or arrogant.

E-earnest ; Do not be distracted or be discourage by other things or by the people around you, be determined enough to pursue and focus on your goal.

F-fearless ; Be brave enough to face all the hardships in life and consequences of your actions and stand firm to every decision you made.

A-adaptable ; Learn to get along with your comrades and do your job efficiently, bear in mind that you can always be whatever you want yourself to be.

R- resilient ; Problems and challenges will always be there, learn to accept things as it is, take the lesson, move on and be better.

E-extra effort ; Accept the fact that we can never be equal to men, that is why in order to cope up with them we need to double or even triple our effort.

R- respectful ; Always respect yourself in order for you to be respected by others. I wish someday every SHEFARER excel and integrate themselves into the workforce and bring wellness and success to the shipping industry.
